High School Football Scores and Preview – Broken Bow at Central City Friday on KCNI
ALC vs South Loup

Arcadia/Loup City held off South Loup Thursday night to conclude the regular season at 7-1.  ALC led 8-6 at halftime but outscored South Loup 24-8 in the second half to secure a 32-14 win.  Ryan Kaslon broke loose for a 66 yard touchdown run in the third quarter and Tyce Calleroz had a 60 yard kickoff return for a touchdown early in the fourth to help ALC pull away.  Brogan Setlik and Joseph Ducker also had rushing touchdowns for the Rebels.  Conner Paulsen led the way for South Loup with over 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns.  In other area action from Thursday night, Sandhills/Thedford claimed its fifth win in a row to improve to 6-2 on the season with a 44-28 win over Hyannis.

Broken Bow goes back on the road Friday to face Central City.  The Indians are coming off back to back wins over Holdrege and Minden by a combined score of 77-3 to improve to 3-4 on the season.  Central City, the C-1 state runners up from a year ago, are undefeated and ranked #2 by the Lincoln Journal Star.  Friday’s game will be broadcast on KCNI 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com.  Coverage begins with the Custer Electric and Irrigation pregame show at 6 p.m. followed by the kickoff at 7.  KCNI/KBBN sports director Brent Apperson visited with Broken Bow head coach Carlie Wells about last week’s win against Minden and Friday’s showdown with the Bison.
