The Broken Bow City Council will meet for two separate sessions coming up on Tuesday, September 23 at the Broken Bow Municipal Building.
In the first meeting, set for 4:30 PM, the council will hold its final hearing on setting the 2025 – 2026 budget. The public budget hearing is an opportunity for Broken Bow residents to hear about how city funds will be used in the upcoming year.
Immediately following the conclusion of the public budget hearing, the regular session of the Broken Bow City Council will commence.
New business starts with the appointment of the new Broken Bow Police Department Chief of Police. Following Chief Steve Scott’s August 1 retirement, the City has been reviewing internal candidates for the position.
Following the Appointment, the city will consider a number of actions to formally establish the City budget for 2025 – 2026.
The Budget Hearing Agenda and City Council Agenda can be found on the City’s website, here: City Council Documents.
