Those wishing to donate clothing, household items, electronics, or furniture they no longer need will have an opportunity to do so when the Goodwill truck comes to Broken Bow this upcoming Tuesday through Friday.
As a part of Goodwill’s regular use of donation trucks and trailers to reach as many communities as possible, the donation truck will be placed at the former Gary’s Super Foods parking lot on South B Street. It will remain in that location until Friday mid-day or when it is full.
Organizers from Goodwill ask that those making donations fill the truck from front to back, and that items not be left outside of the truck.
According to the Goodwill website, clothing and accessories for men, women, and children are accepted including formal wear, everyday clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewelry. Household goods can help families furnish their homes or find essential items including kitchenware, small appliances, bedding, furniture, and home decor. Electronic donations can include computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, televisions, and audio equipment.
Goodwill truck visits to Broken Bow will continue to be posted to the Sandhills Express community calendar page in the future.
