The brackets have been released for the Class B Nebraska American Legion state baseball tournament which begins this weekend. Broken Bow will compete in the American Division tournament at Auburn. Broken Bow will open play Saturday afternoon against Area 2 tournament runner-up Springfield/Platteview at 1 p.m. Other opening round matchups in the American Division tournament include Area 1 champion Hickman vs Area 3 runner up Omaha Roncalli. Area 5 runner up West Point will face Area 4 champion Seward and Area 7 runner up Chadron will face off against the host team Auburn in round one. The double elimination tournament will continue through August 6th. All Broken Bow games will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com.
The Class B National Division tournament will begin Saturday in Minden. Opening round matchups will include ETC of Elkhorn vs Lincoln Christian, Minden vs Waverly, Wayne vs York, and Holdrege vs Alliance.
The American and National Division Tournament winners will face off on August 9th for a winner take all championship game.
