CUSTER COUNTY, Neb. – The Custer County Foundation (CCF) fundraising campaign Give 4 Custer County campaign for 2025 was a great success. A preliminary donation count came to $325,916 following the short donation window from June 16th to the 30th, when the matching dollars included.
Designed to grow philanthropy and inspire communities to come together to support the work of nonprofits in Custer County, 43 organizations signed up to participate and held their own fundraisers throughout the campaign’s dates.
CCF is providing $50,000 in matching funds for the participating nonprofits, which will be distributed proportionately based on the total amount each of them raised. Those totals are still being finalized and will be announced and distributed prior to the Custer County Fair parade on July 26 on the north side of the square in Broken Bow at 5 PM.
The CCF thanked all donors and nonprofits for making the event a huge success and invited the public to join the celebration on the 26th.
