BROKEN BOW- Just For Kix dance classes are set to return to Broken Bow, marking their first appearance in the community since 2020.
Just For Kix dance classes will start on September 4, 2025. Classes will be held at Custer Christian School every Thursday night. These classes are available for children ages 2 to seniors in high school.
Karly Mack is the director and dance instructor in Broken Bow. Mack was in Broken Bow’s Just For Kix program herself for many years and continued to dance through high school with the Broken Bow High School Dance team. She is very excited to bring this opportunity to Custer County’s youth.
“I also did it as a kid for many years, I think five or six years, and it was always super fun. So that just made me want to bring it back even more to give the kids here that opportunity, too,” said Mack.
For the first semester of classes, September to December, dancers will learn ballet and kick routines. Mack hopes to offer more classes and types of dances in the future.
“We’ll see how things go. Just kind of getting a feeler out for if they want more individualized classes, such as just ballet or just lyrical or just jazz,” stated Mack.
Just For Kix is a national dance company with 200 programs in 14 states. For over 40 years, they have focused on teamwork, dance technique, and confidence building.
