Nebraska has claimed the No. 8 seed in next week’s Big Ten Baseball Tournament on May 20-25 at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha.
The Huskers ended the regular season taking 2 of 3 from Purdue on the road. The Huskers came back from an 8-0 deficit to win 11-9 on Thursday. Nebraska dropped a 5-4 decision on Friday but then came back to dominate on Saturday winning 14-2. Nebraska ended the Big Ten conference season at 15-15 to secure a spot in the Big Ten tournament as the #8 seed.
The Huskers begin pool play taking on 12th-seeded Michigan State on Tuesday, May 20 at 6 p.m., before facing top-seeded Oregon on Friday, May 23 at 6 p.m.
