Edward Allan Tullis was born on December 1, 1982, to Gene and Ruth (Sergun) Tullis at Callaway, NE. Ed grew up in a country home five miles west of Arnold.
Adventurous is the word for Ed while growing up. He enjoyed dirt bikes, hiking, and rope propelling, in the canyons south of his home. He was always up for a game of basketball or haystack tag at Cole Leach’s with his brother Chuck.
Ed had a great love for all animals. Dogs were his favorite, but he also was the one who would find the kittens and tame them. And yes, Ed even had two Burmese pythons at one time.
In high school Ed was one of the guys that got called at branding time. Ed had a kind heart and a love for helping people.
After high school Ed went to work in construction with his dad. They did a lot of concrete work and put in several septic systems. Ed really enjoyed running the backhoe, especially when digging large objects out of the ground.
In October of 2006 Darci Barnes Mills and Ed welcomed twin daughters, Anna and Ivy. When Ed had the girls, you didn’t know who was having the most fun, Ed or the girls.
Ed was preceded in death by grandparents, Al & Betty Sergun and Charles & Alice Tullis, Aunt Margaret Harter, and Uncle David Sergun.
Ed is survived by two daughters Anna and Ivy, parents Gene Tullis and Ruth Tullis, brother Charles Tullis, his special friend Nicole Williams and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
