BROKEN BOW, Neb. – The Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce held three celebrations with local businesses and organizations on Thursday afternoon.
Ribbon cutting to celebrate a new Blood Pressure Hub at Prairie Pioneer Center
The Prairie Pioneer Center in Broken Bow recently received a blood pressure hub thanks to the combined efforts of the South Central Area Agency on Aging with a grant from the American Heart Association.
Director Cathy Larson said that visitors are welcome to come in and use the machine as often as they would like.

“Once we’ve helped you do it one time to make sure you get everything right, then it’s just going to be here so you can come in and do it and leave,” Larson explained.
Larson said that she hopes the hub brings a lot of new visitors into the Center, as it is one of the few that she knows of in the area. She invited the public to come and join them for a meal soon to see the new machine.
Broken Bow’s Runza celebrates recent renovation, receives GROW Award from Chamber
The Runza location in Broken Bow recently completed a fast-paced renovation that has the inside of the restaurant looking much different. In an interview in February, Manager Brian Palmer said that everything the customer sees is new and different from flooring to paint, seating to bathrooms.
GROW Awards are presented to Chamber member businesses that invest in their business’ future and therefore the community.
Owners Kevin and Joyce Richardson thanked everyone for the kind words they have received about the renovation and for being so supporting over their years in Broken Bow.
Runza’s dining room is open seven days a week from 10:30 AM to 9 PM. The drive thru stays open until 10 PM.

10|23 Boutique celebrates opening in new location
Bailey Tebow, owner of Broken Bow’s 10|23 Boutique, told those in attendance for Thursday’s ribbon cutting that next month is the three year anniversary for her business. Consistent hours for the boutique’s new location inside the Arrow Mini Mall will begin on May 20, with hours of 11 AM to 6 PM Tuesday to Friday and Saturday hours from 11 AM to early afternoon.
Tebow said that making the move from inside Ortello Dale on the square to her own space is exciting, but scary.
10|23 Boutique carries women’s clothes, accessories, and shoes as well as giftables for in-person shoppers. Tebow said that through social media and online, offerings expand to various kids items. Partnering with other business owners like herself with pop-ups is another passion for Tebow.
“I just love to be able to have a little bit of a space for these women that have these amazing businesses in our community, (to) be able to get themselves in front of other people, get their product showcased and things like that that don’t have the means or desire to have a storefront 24/7,” Tebow explained.
In addition to their new location, 10|23 Boutique can be found online at 1023boutique.com, on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
