Broken Bow was among the teams that competed at the Dave Gee track invite hosted by Northwest High School in Grand Island. Waverly won the boys team title and Norris claimed the girls team championship. Broken Bow finished 5th in the 15 team field in the girls team standings.
Among the Broken Bow highlights, Klarissa Dowdy was runner up in the girls 300 meter hurdles in a time of 47.01 seconds and placed third in the girls 100 meter hurdles in a time of 16.27 seconds. Janae Marten was runner up in the girls shot put with an effort of 37′ 9″. Broken Bow placed third in the girls 4×400 meter relay. The team of Maren Chapin, Aliya Myer, Klarissa Dowdy, and Ashlyn Schauda posted a time of 4:12.89.
