Two preliminary hearings for Alexxis R. Shimko, age 29 of Broken Bow, were on the Monday, April 7th Custer County Court docket.
One case stems from a November 2024 arrest when Shimko was charged with four counts of possession of controlled substances, all Class IV felonies. The other case is from January of this year when Shimko was charged with two counts—possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a Class IV felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction. Written waivers to the preliminary hearings were filed in both cases by the defendant’s attorney, Chris Gosselin, and the cases were bound over to Custer County District Court.
