District speech competition is underway across the state with competitions taking place Saturday the 15th through Saturday the 22nd. Through competition Tuesday, several students from the KCNI/KBBN listening area have secured a spot at the state speech competition.
Both Arnold (D2-5) and Brady (D1-5) were crowned District Team Champions for their efforts. Callaway and Stapleton both received District Runner-up distinction.
Below are the team results and state qualifiers for area schools through Tuesday (March 18). Burwell and Gothenburg compete Wednesday. On Saturday this week Broken Bow, Ansley, Arcadia, and Litchfield will be the last from the area to compete in their districts.
