Electric conversion to cause intermittent outages in Broken Bow soon

BROKEN BOW, Neb. – Electric customers in Broken Bow could begin seeing outages soon as crews work to convert power as a result of the recent power plant explosion.

Broken Bow Electric Superintendent Blake Waldow says that customers who lost power for the period of time between February 20 and 21 will start seeing line crews working in the area to convert power. The main area of focus will be the North side of the train tracks.

Outages are expected to start taking place the week of March 10, varying from 1 to 4 hours each between the times of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM each day.

The City of Broken Bow will try to notify customers the best they can before an outage takes place. Questions and concerns can be dialed to 308-872-6884.
