Broken Bow went up against Milford for the C1-8 girls sub district basketball title on Friday in Milford. Milford would claim the sub district championship with a 73-53 win. Nine players scored for the Lady Indians led by Janae Marten who finished with a team high 13 points. With the win, Milford automatically advances to the district finals next week. Thanks to their strong regular season Broken Bow is still in line to receive one of the six wildcard spots in Class C1 which would advance them to the district final round next week.
Pleasanton claimed the girls D1-8 sub district title holding off Burwell in the championship game 41-35.
