David Lew White, Husband, Father, Friend, Pastor, Printer, Roofer, & “wearer of pants” has passed into eternity on January 5, 2025.
Born to Edwin & Dorothy White on October 21, 1953, he entered life as the son of a preacher. At a young age, David recognized his need for Jesus Christ. He grew in his faith which led him into ministry. Having run his race to completion, David has now relocated to his heavenly home that his Savior prepared for him.
Graduating with dual, Bachelor of Arts degrees in Church Music & Music Education from Bob Jones University, with honors, his ministries, ranging from the Denver Metro Area to the Sandhills of Nebraska, include:

- Ordway Baptist Church and School in CO, serving as Administrator and Choir Director, to include multiple regional choir tours with up to 50 voice choirs
- Prairie Baptist Church in Brewster, NE, serving as Senior Pastor Sandhills Bible Church, Sargent, NE, Founding Pastor
David worked faithfully as a Father, Grandfather, Husband, and Pastor until the day of his death. Having completed his ministry as founder and Pastor of Sandhills Bible Church, he entered his rest with his family and loved ones who have preceded him.
David is preceded to glory by his parents Edwin White and Dorothy (Blaylock) (White) Iverson, oldest brother Micky White, beloved wife of 43 years – Debra (Williamson) White, and granddaughter Elodie Jean White.
David is survived by his beloved wife of 57 months – Phyllis Heath White of Broken Bow, NE. His dear siblings Patty (Larry) Wells, Larry (Lorrie) White, Becky (Ray) Pollock, and Snow White all of Denver, CO.
His beloved children Isaac D. (Amy) White of Greenville, SC, Rachel (Alvin) Fama of Broken Bow, NE, Joshua White of Ridgway, CO, Hannah (Richard) Wang of Golden, CO, Elijah White of Denver, CO, Naomi White of Littleton, CO, Lydia (Nathan) Burns of Wheat Ridge, CO, Abraham (Emily) White of Lakewood, CO, Nehemiah (Nancy) White of Mount Pleasant, WI, Abigail (Mike) Bitz of Boiling Springs, SC, Noah (Catherine) White of Spartanburg, SC, Esther White of Grand Rapids, MI, Gideon (Flavia) White of Goose Creek, SC, and Stephen (Esther) White of Denver, SC.

David Lew White will be remembered and memorialized by his family and friends on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at the Community Center on Main St in Sargent, NE. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, and then on Sunday, January 19th from 9:30am until the service at 1pm. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery Sargent, NE.
