Shotgun Annie’s Saloon in Callaway has been collecting donations for their 8th Annual Annie’s Little Wranglers Toy Drive this Christmas season. The toy drive will come to a close this Sunday (December 15th) with a party to celebrate.
Owner Candace Burnett told KCNI/KBBN that the party is a fun laid-back way for the community to come together to not only celebrate, but have one last opportunity to donate.
Attendees to Sunday’s party can bring new, unwrapped kids toys or monetary donations. Silent auction items can also be brought in, of which the proceeds will go toward the purchase of toys. Burnett said she loves shopping knowing that everything bought will stay in Custer County.
“It’s great, you know, to go in shopping with all the money everyone donated and find more to add to the donations,” said Burnett.
A free will donation buffet will be going from 11 AM to 6 PM Sunday in addition to the silent auction which holds a wide variety of items including a 8 hours of cedar tree cutting (valued at $1,200) from Burnett Enterprises. A pool tournament for $10/stick with 50% payout will start at 2 PM.
