Area Wrestlers Compete at Ravenna and Hi-Line Invites

Ravenna hosted the Dom Reicks Wrestling Invitational on Friday.  Burwell was the team champion with 167 points.  The Longhorns had three individual champions including Brody Jensen at 113 lbs., Drew Dawe at 132, and Cale Buss at 215 lbs.  Other area highlights included Cazen Smith of Twin Loup champion at 165 lbs. and Wyatt Stieb of Arcadia/Loup City was champion at 190 lbs.

SEM and South Loup each finished in the top five at the Hi-Line wrestling invitational on Friday.  Cambridge was the team champion with 153 points followed by SEM in 2nd with 131.5 points.  South Loup finished 4th with 86 points.  Among the area highlights, South Loup had two individual champions including Dawson Mason at 138 lbs. and CJ Quandt at 157.  SEM was led by Maddox Jones who was champion at 175 lbs.
