BROKEN BOW, NE – The 4-H building on the Custer County Fairgrounds in Broken Bow was site of the recent 4-H recognition night.
Kyla Olson was presented with the 2024 Outstanding 4-H Leader Award. She serves as the organizational leader of the Creative Kids 4-H Club.
The Custer County 4-H Council awarded Casey Cooksley and Farm Credit Services of America with the 2024 “Friends of 4-H” recognition for the contributions they have made to the Custer County 4-H program and for being great advocates of the 4-H program.
The Joyce Clarke Memorial Community Service Award was presented to the Thumbs Up 4-H Club for their excellence in 4-H community service projects the past year.
The Leo C. Cooksley Memorial Award went to Izabella Shields for her leadership and citizenship contributions to the 4-H program.
Several two and five year members received membership pins in recognition for their 2, 5, 10, 15, 25, and 40 years of service.
