The Custer County Ag Society will meet for a regular board meeting and an annual meeting back-to-back tonight (Thursday, November 14). The regular meeting is scheduled to start at 7 PM, followed by the annual meeting at 7:30 PM.
The regular meeting agenda holds the usual financial report and committee reports, followed by new business items. Audit information, security cameras for the indoor arena, and the fair managers convention are all scheduled for discussion and decision.
The annual board meeting centers on the election of board members for a term from 2025 to 2027. The seats of Marla Stallbaumer, Charmayne Popp, and Shane Ryan are open for election. A vote will also take place to allow Desirei Cook to finish the 2024 through 2026 term she was appointed to in order to fill a vacant position.
Other annual meeting business includes approving the minutes of last year’s annual meeting, approving the year end fiscal report, and hearing the president’s report.
