Carsen W. Wilson, age 19 of Broken Bow, appeared for an arraignment in Custer County District Court on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Appearing with Wilson was Matthew Furrow, his court-appointed attorney. Wilson is charged with 15 felony counts–one count of use of a firearm to commit a felony, three counts of unlawful discharge of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of first degree assault, possession of a stolen firearm, one count of attempted first degree domestic assault, two counts of terroristic threats, and two counts of stalking. The defendant pleaded not guilty to all charges. Judge Karin Noakes set the matter for a jury trial to be held on February 3, 2025 with a pretrial hearing for January 16, 2025. Wilson remains in the Custer County Jail. His bond is $1,000,000 with a 10% privilege.
Appearing for a status hearing in Custer County District Court on Thursday was Christina M. Page, age 44 of Loup City. In a plea agreement reached with the State, Page pleaded guilty to probation violation. Judge Noakes found the defendant had violated one or more terms of her probation and ordered a presentence report. Page will be sentenced on January 2, 2025.
