Designs of Distinction celebrates grand re-opening with ribbon cutting

BROKEN BOW – From 302 South 9th Avenue to 305 South 9th Avenue, a move and grand re-opening celebrated by Trish McCarron with Designs of Distinction in Broken Bow on Wednesday.

McCarron told those in attendance she was excited for the move because the area at the back of Bow Family Flooring allowed her more space overall, including a new work table and flooring space for bigger items needing upholstery work.

The new location of Designs of Distinction at the back of Bow Family Flooring has much more workspace than the former location across the street

The journey started about 14 years ago for McCarron when she moved from Las Vegas where she was doing window treatment work. When relocating, she threw away all of her sample books with the goal of opening a quilt shop in Broken Bow. When she arrived, her late husband Spencer already had a list of people in hand that needed her services with window treatment work.

Designs of Distinction helps customers with all kinds of window treatment work including shades, blinds, and even motorization. Upholstery work including indoor and outdoor cushions, chairs, and other projects are also among possibilities for customers.

McCarron can be reached at 308-870-3677. She plans to be at her new location generally on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and working at Bow Family Furniture on Mondays, Fridays, and some Saturdays.

You can watch McCarron’s visit on the Get Up & Go Breakfast Show ahead of the grand re-opening here:
