Ord hosted its cross country invitational on Friday (9/27). Elijah Pollard of Ord was the boys individual champion in a winning time of 16:58.74. Among the area highlights, Connor Sutton of Sandhills/Thedford placed in the top ten finishing 9th in a time of 18:25.17. Everett Funk of Twin Loup finished in the top 20 placing 19th in a time of 19:45.65 and Kolten Clay of Ansley/Litchfield was in the top 30 finishing 29th (20:56.64)
Emma Kennedy of Ainsworth was the girls individual champion with a winning time of 20:24.76. The top finisher from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area was MaKayla Stecker of Twin Loup who was 22nd (26:38.04). Also placing in the top 30 were Casey Clements of Twin Loup (28th) and Kelbi Martin of Arcadia/Loup City (29th).
