BROKEN BOW – As a result of their renovations that took place between May and June earlier this year, the Pleasure Lanes bowling alley in Broken Bow was presented a GROW Award from the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce on Thursday afternoon.
Renovations to Pleasure Lanes included pushing back a raised concrete wall to allow for more seating, new chairs and tables, easier-to-clean laminate flooring, and plenty of paint from gutters to walls.
In an interview with KCNI/KBBN in June, owners Wendi Glendy, Adam Glendy, and Evan June extended thank you after thank you to everyone who jumped in to help with the project. Those who are walking through the doors of Pleasure Lanes for the first time since the renovation easily notice the large amount of concrete wall that has been removed.

“We’ve just seen other bowling alleys that have this style of set up. We thought it could work here as long as we knocked some concrete out. We had to push the concrete back 5 foot on the east end and then 3 food on the west end.” said Adam.
The three encourage the public to come to open bowling, sign up for a league, or to have their family reunions, birthday parties, or company parties at the alley.
