BROKEN BOW – Over the noon hour Thursday (August 15) those enjoying lunch at the Prairie Pioneer Center in Broken Bow were entertained by the presenting of a gift.
Seth Behrens with Jones Group in Ansley and Marcus Treimer with IMT Insurance were on hand for the presentation to Prairie Pioneer Center Director Cathy Larson. IMT’s Community Contest was the source of the gifted donation.
“Jones Group had nominated the Prairie Pioneer Center in this contest and they were actually selected. So IMT is awarding the Prairie Pioneer Center today with a check of $1,000. We hope these funds go to helping continue what the Prairie Pioneer Center does here providing an awesome service to here and also delivering meals and providing services to the community,” said Behrens.
Treimer explained that through the Community Contest, IMT has gifted donations to community projects and organizations in need of funding for many years.
Big smiles across the room showed that the Prairie Pioneer Center was very excited to be the recipient of the gift, and that there’s no doubt the money will help propel the great additions the organization brings to the area.
