Custer Christian School will host an open house before the new school year

BROKEN BOW- With the 2024-2025 school year starting up a new school in Custer County opens its doors for the first time. On September 3, 2024 Custer Christian School (CCS) will be open for preschool and kindergarten students, but before they start, they will have an open house on August 23.

CCS will host an open house at 727 S 6th Ave, Broken Bow, on Friday, August 23. New student orientation will go from 5 to 6 p.m. Then from 6 to 7 p.m. there will be live music in the gym and brisket sandwiches served. Students, parents, and the community members are invited to check out the school.

Custer Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school that teaches a faith-based curriculum. This year they will be using the BJU (Bob Jones University) curriculum for kindergarten students and for the preschool students they will use the same curriculum as Little Lights Preschool in Broken Bow.

Kindergarten will be taught by Mary Cabiten and preschool will be taught by Tami Thornton. Raymart Cabiten will be the activities director and Cindy Holmes will teach art. The staff will be led by Gordon Goodman.

This year CCS has around 30 kids enrolled between the two grades. If you would like to enroll your child you can contact the school at [email protected]. For updates and pictures visit the Custer Christian School Facebook page.
