Signal Dedication will happen on Saturday in Broken Bow

BROKEN BOW- On August 10 there will be an official dedication and blessing of Spirit Catholic Radio’s Broken Bow signal at St. Joseph Church in Broken Bow.

Starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday on the steps of St. Joseph Church in Broken Bow, Bishop Joseph Hanefeldt of the Diocese of Grand Island will officially dedicate and bless Spirit Catholic Radio’s 88.1 FM- KEJS signal. 

Spirit Catholic Radio is a listener supported Catholic radio station based out of Omaha. Their coverage includes most of the state of Nebraska and Western Iowa. Programming heard on Spirit Catholic Radio is a mix of locally-produced shows and national Catholic radio programs. 

Spirit Catholic Radio went on air in Omaha in January of 1999. Today, Spirit Catholic Radio reaches over 96 percent of the state of Nebraska through 11 signals. The signal KEJS 88.1 FM reaches Custer, Blain, Garfield, Greeley, Loup, Sherman, and Wheeler Counties.
