Loup Basin Public Health Department (LBPHD) is hosting a Back to School Bash on Wednesday evening in Burwell.
LBPHD, which serves Garfield, Blaine, Custer, Greeley, Howard, Loup, Sherman, Valley, and Wheeler counties, is hosting the event at their office in Burwell at 934 I Street from 4 until 7 PM.
Those attending the event can expect a free meal, vendors, fun activities for kids, door prizes, and a coloring contest. Car seat checks and immunizations are being made available for attendees as well.
Those wishing to make an appointment ahead of time for an immunization can find links on the LBPHD website, social media pages, or can scan a QR code on circulated posters. The same avenues can be utilized regarding car seat checks, with guests having the ability to choose a time between 4 PM and 6:30 PM in 30 minute increments that works best for them.
