Devil’s Den Motorcycle Rally this Friday and Saturday

ARNOLD- Kick stands will be up in Arnold for the Devil’s Den Motorcycle Rally July 12 and 13.

Starting Friday, gates open at 5 p.m. with free admission. Enjoy biker games, karaoke, giveaways, and more.

Saturday starts with registration for the poker run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Admission for the poker run costs $30 for singles and $50 for couples. The Arnold After Prom will be serving breakfast burritos that morning from 8 to 11. At 9:30 the Show and Shine will begin and then at 11 the poker run will start.

The poker run will have 6 stops to collect cards. The stops include Grazers in Arnold, Fubar in Anselmo, The Rescue in Sargent, Kinkaiders in Broken Bow, Shotgun Annie’s or Henry’s in Callaway, and finally the Arnold Recreation Area. There is a route mapped out, but riders can go whichever way they would like. Heather Hagler, a Devil’s Den board member, said that a motorcycle is not necessary to participate in the poker run.

“We took a bus one year, we’ve had Jeeps on it before. You don’t need a motorcycle to go on the poker run. Any vehicles are welcome,” Hagler said.

On Saturday evening festivities start with the BBQ at 4:30. For those who didn’t participate in the poker run there is a $10 admission fee. Ages 10 and under are free, but all minors 14 and under must leave by 9 p.m. All poker run cards must be turned in by 5 p.m. so they can announce the winners at the BBQ.

Music for the evening will include Craig Furne Experience, Phil Koubek Project, and Hookt.

There will be live auction items including a smudge pot, Aerosmith tickets, Harley Davidson signs, and more. Items, as well as any updates will be posted on the Devil’s Den Motorcycle Rally Facebook Page

The Arnold Recreation Area has many camping spots that will be available during the Motorcycle Rally. There are 29 camper hookups all on a first come, first serve basis. For more information about the campgrounds, contact the Village of Arnold.

The Devil’s Den supports many different charities and causes including Teammates, Autism Awareness, and Suicide Awareness. Heather Hagler pointed out that Devil’s Den Motorcycle Rally is a fun experience that also helps many local organizations.

“It’s just to have a good time and it’s for good causes,” Hagler said.
