A long line of tractors will be seen traveling through Custer County on Friday as a part of the 11th annual Custer County Tractor Ride on Friday (June 21).
The event, put on to benefit Custer Care transportation services, starts and ends at the Custer County Fairgrounds. In between, participating tractors and their passengers will travel a distance of approximately 50 miles weaving throughout the county.

Organizer Tiffany Glidden with Custer Care told KCNI/KBBN that registrations cost $50 and are still being taken, and can also be taken the morning of the event as well. Tractors that are at least 20 years old are preferred. Glidden laughed and added that there will definitely be plenty of food.
Morning-of registrations will take place during breakfast at the fairgrounds from 7 am to 8 am. Tractors will leave at 8 am, break at 10 am, noon for lunch, 3 pm and then arrive back at the fairgrounds around 4:30 pm. Stops will include the homes of Dr. Loren Jacobsen, Perry Myers, and Eldon Schipporeit.
Those interested in registering or that have questions can contact Tiffany Glidden or Peggy King by calling 308-872-6303 or visiting CusterCare.com.
