BROKEN BOW, NE – Due to extensive flooding in the Broken Bow Municipal Building, city offices will remain closed Friday (May 3), according to City Administrator David Schmidt.
The offices will also be closed on Monday, May 6. The phone system is slated for repairs on that day. If the system is able to be brought back online the offices will be open on Tuesday. If not, a reassessment will take place on operating at that time.
City phone systems are down. Citizens are encouraged to continue to utilize Custer County Dispatch for all utility related emergencies at 308-872-6424.
Late fees will not be assessed for any utility bills this month, if paid on or before “shut-off day”. (Thursday, May 30). Utility bills may be placed in the overnight drop box located on the front of the building or paid online.
