BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Ag Society will hold its December meeting on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Custer County Courthouse in the Board of Supervisors room.
The board will look to approve the minutes of the November 9, 2023 meeting, pay monthly bills, and listen to committee reports, which include hearing from the Extension Office, 4-H Council, Grounds Manager, Personnel Committee, and the Winter Ball Committee.
Under new business, there will be an election of 2024 officers, a discussion of the Fair Manager’s Convention on January 19-21, and a discussion of a potential part-time hire.
Under old business, discussion of advertising bids for barn demolition and rebuild of buildings 7 and 8, Arthur County Ag society inquiry about the gray stalls, consider the 2025 Nebraska State Junior Hereford proposal, and a discussion to purchase floor cleaner for Building 18.
As always, these meetings are open to the public.
