BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow Express Delights Families at the Broken Bow Public
Library on Monday Evening.
Kicking off the festive evening, families enjoyed cookie and ornament decorating, crafted reindeer food, and had the chance to write letters to Santa Claus. The experience continued with a special reading of “The Polar Express” by KCNI/KBBN, setting the festive tone before families climbed aboard the Broken Bow Express to admire the Christmas lights throughout the town.

Sheree Slagel with the Broken Bow Public Library told KCNI/KBBN what she enjoys about “The Polar Express” event.
“Seeing the children and their faces, they are so excited to come. It’s a great opportunity and the fact that it doesn’t cost them anything at all. I think we gave out like 370 tickets. I think we added another time slot actually.”
KCNI/KBBN also asked Andria what she had done so far at the Library. You are invited to listen below.
After the families rode on the Broken Bow Express, there was one last magical stop. Santa Claus.
It was an enchanting evening that embraced the participation of numerous families. Keep an eye out for the return of the Broken Bow Express next year.
