Broken Bow Veterans Day Program Recap
"Thank you" cards from some elementary kiddos.

BROKEN BOW  – On Friday, Broken Bow Public Schools held their annual Veterans Day Program in the high school gym.

The American Legion, American Legion Riders, Disabled American Veterans, Sons of the American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars joined with the students of Broken Bow Public Schools.

Two local Veterans were honored: Wayne Mills, a WWII Vet, and Roger Carroll, a Marine Corps Vet.

The Broken Bow Choir, directed by Morgan Harms and accompanied by Angie Ripp performed “A Tribute to the Armed Services” arr. Lloyd Larson.

Callaway: Sunday, November 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Callaway Community Center

Mason City: Saturday, November 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community Hall

School Veterans Day Programs on Monday include:

Anselmo-Merna: 11/13 at 9:00 a.m.
Ansley: 11/13 at 9 a.m.
