The tenth annual Callaway Fall Kids Carnival is being held on Saturday, October 28th from 11 am – 1 p.m. at the Callaway Community Center.
The Carnival will have games, activities, and prizes for kids preschool age to sixth grade.
Michael Reiff told KCNI/KBBN about the admission for this event.
“When we started the Fall Carnival 10 years ago, we had asked for admission, and converted admission into the game tickets that the kids could use, and then realized that this is more of a service effort and that everything is free and the Village has partnered with us to make that happen as far as to use the Community Center. We felt there was still a way to have something similar admission-like, so we know that we have a need in the community for the food pantry for so many families. So we asked for an “admission” by asking people that can to bring food pantry items, non-perishable goods to the event and then we drop them off after the event is over.”
There will also be the Cake Walk.
The Callaway American Legion Auxiliary will be providing popcorn, hot dogs, drinks and other treats as well.
The Oconto Volunteer Fire Department will be providing a bounce house.
All kids and their parents are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to the Carnival.
