Callaway District Hospital Top 20 pick for Patient Satisfaction Excellence

On September 29, the Callaway District Hospital and Medical Clinic was recognized as one of the Top 20 hospitals in the nation for patient satisfaction buy the National Rural Health Association. Callaway District Hospital was one of 8 Nebraska hospitals recognized during the conference.

The NRHA, a leading advocate for rural health, evaluates hospitals across the country based on various criteria, including patient satisfaction, quality of care, and community impact. The Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinics not only met but surpassed the standards, earning their place among the top-performing rural healthcare institutions. The patient satisfaction index is a rating of hospital performance based on the percentile rank for “overall rating” and “highly recommend” on the Hospital Compare HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) surveys.

Brett Eggleston, CEO of the Callaway Hospital said “We are thrilled and honored to be recognized by the National Rural Health Association for our dedication to patient satisfaction. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and compassion of our entire healthcare team, who go above and beyond to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care in a supportive and welcoming environment.”

The Top 20 award underscores Callaway District Hospital & Medical Clinics’ ongoing commitment to delivering patient-centered healthcare that meets the unique needs of the rural community.
