The Broken Bow United Methodist Church is holding its annual Trunk or Treat event tomorrow at 6 p.m. along with a ribbon cutting for a play structure that was donated.
Denise Sughayar told KCNI/KBBN that along with the “Trunk or Treat” event, there will also be a meal provided and activities for the kids.
“We will have trunks set up outside for kids to collect candy. And then inside, our Jr. High and some of our Sr. High youth will have activities for the kids, like games, and we will try to get the face painting out too. And then we will have a meal inside also. We are just going to be serving hot dogs and chili dogs.”
Following the “Trunk or Treat” event will be a ribbon cutting, at 6:45 pm for the play structure that was donated to the church.
Sughayar talked about who donated the play structure and the volunteers who helped put it together.
“We just set up a new play structure in our little play yard area that was donated by Joyce and Kevin Richardson as far as the cost of it. It was put together by some other members of our congregation. It’s been a long-term goal of mine to get some sort of a play structure set up for our little ones.”
Children of all ages are welcome to dress up and come out and enjoy this fun event.
