Benefit Ranch Rodeo to take place in Taylor, Oct. 15

A benefit will be held for Breckyn Tierney on October 15 at the Taylor arena.  Breckyn is the daughter of Michael and Candice Tierney. She is a 5 year old who got diagnosed with leukemia in August of this year.

Currently, Breckyn and her parents are residing in Omaha while she is getting her chemo treatments.

Spencer Sinner told KCNI/KBBN about the live and silent auction, and also spoke about the amount of support people have provided for the benefit.

“A lot of people have been asking us, because they want to donate some items, so we decided to go ahead and have a Benefit Ranch Rodeo. And we are also having a live and silent auction on it. There has been an over pouring amount of support on this. We are getting items in every single day.”

The auction is going on right now and will close on October 15, the day of the Ranch Rodeo.  With donations being sent in every single day, you are invited to check it out on Facebook at “Breckyn’s Benefit Ranch Rodeo.”

The Ranch Rodeo will have four events. 14 teams are entered, but entries are still being accepted. Organizers are looking to take at least 20 teams.

Sinner also said that 100% of the proceeds will be going to the family.

“100% of the proceeds are going to the family to help them out because they are living in Omaha right now. They both have jobs in Broken Bow.”

A  Facebook page has been created, holding more information on the Ranch Rodeo & Live/Silent Auction.  For updates on Breckyn, there is also a Caring Bridge page that is being updated regularly.
