City Council Recap 10/10

The Broken Bow City Council came to order at 6 p.m., Tuesday evening. All members were present except Councilman Chris Myers, who was excused.

The council approved the consent agenda, including the posted bills and minutes from the

Christopher Leibert. The new Broken Bow Police Officer.

September 26 meeting. Under new business, Christopher Leibert was appointed as a Broken Bow Police Officer and took the Police Officer Oath.

The board also approved Kathy Salts to the Broken Bow Housing Authority, for a term, ending October 2028.

Ordinance 1273 was approved to go from a Residential Single to a Residential Single and Multifamily zone.

The West Ward Councilmember, David Baltz, submitted his resignation, which was approved, effective October 10, 2023. His service will end on December 31, 2024.

The next City Council meeting will be on October 24, and as always, is open to the public.
