The Mid Nebraska Activities Conference has released the bracket for the 2023 MNAC volleyball tournament which will begin with opening round matches on Thursday (10/12). Sandhills/Thedford is the top seed. The Lady Knights will host opening round matches at Dunning. #4 seed Brady will face #5 seed South Loup in Dunning followed by Sandhills/Thedford vs Sandhills Valley.
Anselmo-Merna is the #2 seed and will host opening round matches in Merna. Twin Loup is the #3 seed and will face Arthur County in Merna followed by Anselmo-Merna vs Mullen.
Consolation matches, semifinals, and the championship match will all take place Saturday (10/14) at North Platte Community College.
Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will provide radio and video coverage of this year’s tournament. First round matches from Merna will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM with a live video stream, accompanied by the radio call, available through sandhillsexpress.com. Radio and video coverage of Saturday’s semifinals, 3rd place consolation, and championship match will also be available on KBBN 95.3 FM and sandhillsexpress.com.
