NORTH PLATTE – According to a statement released by the Nebraska Department of Transportation, Francis Street in North Platte is open once again.
The street was closed for the installation of storm sewer pipe and the lowering of the water main underneath the street. Paulsen, Inc. of Cozad was the contractor for the project.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation reminds motorists to drive cautiously in and near work zones to buckle up, and to put their phones down while driving.
