BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow Veterans Memorial Board will be holding their annual Flag Day celebration meal and flag retirement tomorrow, June 24.
The celebration will be held at the Veterans’ Memorial Building on 1st Avenue in Broken Bow. The meal will feature pulled pork and mountain oysters; tickets can be purchased by calling Dell Moninger at (308) 870-4150 or by visiting the Culligan in Broken Bow.
The meal starts at 4 p.m. and runs until 7, with a flag retirement ceremony getting underway at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $10; all proceeds will go to the Veterans Memorial Board for future updates to the Veterans Building.
