The Broken Bow American Legion Seniors fell to Dannebrog Cairo Boelus Tuesday night at Paul Brown Field. Broken Bow trailed 5-1 after two innings then saw DCB put the game away in the fourth when they scored 11 runs on their way to a 16-1 win. Broken Bow was held to one run on four hits. Brice Chaplin drove in Eli Coble in the first inning for Bow’s lone run of the game.
Broken Bow is back in action tonight when they host Holdrege for a juniors and seniors doubleheader at Paul Brown Field. It will be a special night at the ballpark as it will be volunteer fire department appreciation night with volunteer firefighters being recognized between games. The juniors game is scheduled for 5:30 with the seniors game to follow at 8 pm. The seniors game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and on kbbn.com
