Custer County Court hears from one defendant Monday

BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Court heard several cases from a single defendant Monday morning.

Matthew G. McAlevy, 31 of Broken Bow, appeared to face several allegations, many related to an alleged probation violation: one alleged count of failing to register on the sex offender registry, a Class IIIA felony, two allegations of criminal mischief and trespassing, Class I and Class II misdemeanors, respectively.

McAlevy also appeared for a pretrial hearing regarding two DUI allegations and a cruelty to animals charge, a Class I misdemeanor.  All his cases have moved forward to be revisited in August.
