BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Foundation has finished reviewing its grant requests for its spring period, and has announced its awardees.
The foundation is awarding a total of $64,910 to 22 organizations throughout the county to assist in everything from the purchase of youth football helmets to repainting buildings.
The money awarded ranges from $10,000 to the Village of Callaway for help with a new aquatic facility to $400 to the Dog Gone 4-H Club to help with a rally for the club.
“It’s always an exciting time when we get to announce our grant recipients,” said Lindsay Cook, Executive Director of the Foundation. “The generous support we receive from our donors through our annual Gala & Auction in December enables the Foundation to continue to have a county-wide impact through the grants we are able to award.”
