The Broken Bow athletic department hosted a letter of intent signing Thursday for senior Zane Eggleston who signed to join the Hastings College track team next season. Eggleston has had a standout track career for Broken Bow especially in the hurdles. Eggleston was a state qualifier last year in both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles and has been a consistent medalist in both events throughout this season. Eggleston was the Southwest conference champion in the 300 meter hurdles this year with a winning time of 42.31 seconds. Broken Bow will compete in the B5 district track and field championships Tuesday in Holdrege and Eggleston hopes to be able to post his best times in the big meets ahead.
Eggleston shared what drew him to the Hastings College track program.
