Assessor’s Office reminds taxpayers of coming filing deadline

BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Assessor’s Office has issued a statement reminding constituents of the upcoming filing deadline for personal property tax.

The Assessor states the personal property schedules are due in the County Assessor’s Office on May 1 to avoid penalties. They can be filed online or mailed to 431 South 10th Avenue in Broken Bow; taxpayers may also utilize the courthouse drop boxes or deliver their materials in person.

Additionally, forms can be emailed to the Assessor’s Office at [email protected].

The office will be open Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., though will be closed on Friday, April 28, and reopening on May 1.
