BROKEN BOW – At around 1:45 p.m., the Broken Bow Fire Department answered a call for a hay bale fire south of Adams Land & Cattle, near its creeper pit, in Broken Bow.
Three trucks from the department first arrived on the scene, and by 1:52 had requested a grass rig and water tanker from two other departments: Merna and Oconto.

1:57 p.m. – Merna 20 has responded to the call, and is en route.
2:03 p.m. – Merna 40 is en route.
2:10 p.m. – Broken Bow 99 en route.
2:11 p.m. – Merna 20 arrives on the scene.
2:14 p.m. – Merna 20 moves near the old highway.
2:18 p.m. – Merna 40 arrives on the scene.
