Custer County District Court hears 3 cases Thursday

BROKEN BOW – The Custer County District Court heard 3 criminal cases Thursday, two in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Branden J. Miller, 30 of Columbus, appeared for sentencing in his case to revoke his post-release supervision. It was continued until later this month.

Brian K. Addleman, 55 of Madison, made his first appearance in court for allegedly violating his probation. Addleman was initially charged with 2 counts of theft by taking, Class IV felonies, and denied the violation. A status hearing for his case was set for August.

Eric J. Holler, 42, appeared remotely after having been found competent to stand trial. Holler had initially been charged in January of 2022 for assault of a jailer while detained in Custer County; Holler pled no contest to the charge and was sentenced to 1 year of incarceration, with credit for a year already served.
