BROKEN BOW – A $90,000 winning Nebraska Lottery ticket was sold at Gary’s Super Foods in Broken Bow over the weekend. The Pick 5 ticket was sold on Saturday, and the Nebraska Lottery has confirmed that the 5 numbers on the ticket match the winning numbers.

The winning numbers from Saturday’s drawing were 03, 11, 16, 29, and 37. Winning tickets will expire 180 days after the numbers are drawn, and prizes of more than $20,000 or more must be claimed in person at the Nebraska Lottery headquarters in Lincoln.

The Pick 5 game keeps all proceeds within the state, and has a jackpot that starts at $50,000 and grows for each unclaimed drawing; the overall odds of winning are 1 in 501,942, and the odds of winning any of the seven weekly Pick 5 drawings is 1 in 8.

Curiously, the location marks the second time a major winning ticket has been sold in Broken Bow, the other time coming in June of 2007, when Ronald Beavers won $30,000 on a Powerball Power Play; the store was then known as Jack & Jill Grocery.
