The finals of the D2-8 boys sub district basketball tournament will take place tonight at SEM as the top seed SEM takes on #2 seed Sandhills/Thedford. This will be the second meeting between the two this season as they met back in December with SEM winning 66-39. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. A live video stream, accompanied by the radio call, will be available on the Sandhills Express Facebook page and Sandhills Express You Tube channel. Tip off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Ansley/Litchfield will host Pleasanton for the D1-7 sub district championship tonight at Litchfield. This will be the third meeting between the two this season. Ansley/Litchfield won both previous meetings winning 57-46 in the quarterfinals of the Fort Kearny Conference tournament and winning at Pleasanton a few days ago on Feb. 17 62-56.
Mullen will host Paxton in the finals of the D2-10 sub district tonight. The Broncos are 17-4 on the season with one of those losses coming to Paxton back in December during the Paxton holiday tournament.
The winners of tonight’s games will automatically advance to the district finals.
